Positive: Lovely setting,charming owners skilled at conversation, spacious comfortable rooms, good food and friendly dogs. A jeep safari that drove through dreamy villages.

Negative: Train ride came at a high cost.would have liked more cultural excursions like temple visits etc. to understand the workings of village life better

Positive: Just perfection. A handful of beautiful, historic rooms with antique furniture and excellent paintings. As much privacy (if required) but also warmly welcomed for drinks, dinner or breakfast.

Negative: Connecting with the family and their staff. EM Forster from Howards End (1910) opens with Only Connect. And connect we were able to do with arms open

Summary: Perfection. Should have stayed longer.
